OREF regularly organises or co-hosts renewable energy events, attends external events, conferences and industry meetings, and hosts visitors to Orkney. Past events have included everything from informative evening talks to local trade shows, and from consultation meetings to electric vehicle shows.

OREF AGM
June 2 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The OREF AGM and members discussion will take place on Tuesday 2nd June in the King St Halls, Kirkwall at 7pm. Refreshments will be available from 6.45pm.
Following the AGM where reports on the past year are presented and a new Board is elected, there will be an open discussion among those present on energy matters relating to Orkney. This will help shape the programme for the coming year and also help make sure the Board is going to serve the needs of the membership as we drive towards a society powered by renewables. As a forum the work of OREF relies upon the conversations that take place and not just the presentations we arrange. Your voice is important, so please do come along and be ready to use it.
