Ultra Local Focus of Power – Talk by Lesley Riddoch

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

On Tuesday 1st September, OREF will host a talk by Lesley Riddoch on the ultra local focus of power which is normal in most of our North European neighbours, yet fairly unusual in centralised Scotland.

Lesley is a journalist, writer and broadcaster and has been Director of the policy group Nordic Horizons for ten years, co-edited a book Northern Neighbours published by Edin Uni Press which compares Scotland and Norway since 1800 and has just finished a PhD on the history of huts, land ownership and leisure in the two North Sea neighbours.

This event will take place at 7.30pm online via Microsoft Teams. Please contact [email protected] to join the event.
