This is a very important consultation, the outcome of which may go a long way in deciding the fate of investment in renewable generation in peripheral areas for the foreseeable future. The Call for Evidence is available to download below.

OREF supports the Government’s aim to bring on more renewable generation bearing in mind the need to achieve the necessary, and ambitious, targets for both electricity from renewables by 2020 and corresponding reductions in carbon emissions.
