ORKNEY RENEWABLE ENERGY FORUM

The following categories of membership are available with OREF:

Associate membership

Associate Membership of the forum shall be open for any individual, business or organisation based outside of Orkney, which/who supports the objectives of the forum and by invitation thereof. The subscription rate for Associate Members is £200 per calendar year.

Full membership

Membership of the forum is open for any individual over the age of 18, business or organisation based within Orkney, which/who supports the objectives of the forum and by invitation thereof. In April 2011 it was decided that membership should be scaled to reflect the numbers of empoyees primarily involved in renewable energy/energy efficiency as follows:

Business members will receive the opportunity for an article in the annual OREF newsletter and promotion through OREF and associated websites, inclusion of success stories in OREF emails and on the OREF website. In addition, large businesses will be supported through the facilitation of bespoke events on request.

Individual Supporters and Student Members 

Individual Supporter and Student members will be entitled to one vote. In addition they will receive free entry to all OREF forum sessions, monthly email updates on OREF news, consultations and opportunities, and networking opportunities with local businesses, community groups, the local authority and the wider community. The subscription rate for Individual Supporters is £20 per calendar year, and £10 per calendar year for Students.

Student Membership shall be open to any individual over the age of 18 in full time education.
